One of the most important skills a teacher
can have is the skill of observation. Workshop outline includes:
- exercises to develop the ability of the
eyes to "see"
- organic way of looking at the body
from different angles without judgment or talking
- linear
method of observation using a plumb line and charts to map
out what is observed in your partners standing posture
- observation
of partner during simple surya namaskaras
- observation of
and mimicking students as they walk to develop a kinesthetic
sense of the pattern they live in
- observe various asanas
that play into the larger picture of the individuals way of
holding their anatomy
- link together and see the connection
between asanas, the persons patterns and how to bring their
awareness to it
